They are two of the most popular mobile phones out there at the moment. The iPhone 5s has just been released and demands for the phone have never been higher! Whilst at the same time the Samsung Galaxy S4 is still on the prowl and considered by many as the best smartphone on the Planet.
iPhone 5S or the S4?
With the S4 seen as the alternative option for smartphones, how long will Apple’s reign in the technological World last? So, with hard core Apple supporters in one corner, and Samsung fans in the other, who is going to come out on top in the battle of the smartphones? Pick your side.
Round 1 – Design
let’s be honest, we all judge books by their cover, and that metaphor is particularly true for phones. If you get your Nokia 3310 out in public, you’re probably going to be embarrassed because of the brick shape of it, even though it does everything a phone needs to do.
In terms of design for the Samsung Galaxy S4, the smartphone is more about the basics, with a plastic flimsy back cover which comes in a basic black or white, it’s clear Samsung are concerned about what’s on the inside that counts.Overall, the build design of the iPhone 5s itself is definitely more impressive than the Galaxy S4 with an aluminium back which is produced in the same way as Samurai swords in Japan and a glass front which is created from the same type of glass from high speed rail trains, it little wonder how any phone really competes when it comes to design. That’s round 1 to the iPhone 5S.
Round 2 – Under the Hood
For some, the decision to choose a smartphone may come down to the tech specifications and nothing else; if so then it’s absolutely crucial to know what you are getting when you choose your phone. Of course if you are choosing between the iPhone 5s and the Samsung Galaxy S4, then you have very little to worry about in terms of the hardware.
One of the main reasons why the Samsung Galaxy S4 is so popular is because it does offer the BEST hardware for any smartphone out there today.
On the other hand, the iPhone 5s in terms of processors has improved significantly with the new A7 processor but it’s just simply not quad core! The iPhone offers less RAM and only allows the option of 16, 32, or 64 GB Storage, leaving storage options limited. It is clear who wins this round – Samsung Galaxy S4.Round 3 – Cameras
Nowadays having an awesome camera on your smartphone is almost mandatory! We all want those snaps of those legendary nights out, those once in a lifetime moments that we spot on the streets or simply for our travels whilst we are Globetrotting! That’s why smartphone manufacturers like Apple and Samsung are constantly trying to outdo one another with their cameras!
This has left the S4 at the top of the table in terms of Camera quality as the S4’s camera comes not only with a 13 megapixels camera but with an LED flash, image stabilisation and many more photo features to produce great photos (and even with sound!). Thus Round 3 go to Samsung. And there you have it! 2-1 to Samsung!
Now we could go into great length about other aspects of the phones such as the operating systems, the battery life and the special features each phone offers but we will be here all night! The best way to make any final decision on the phones is to try them for yourself. Which one are you going to choose? Are you going to go with appearance and choose the 5s, or go for what’s on the inside and choose the S4? The price of both models is pretty similar and you can contact companies such T Mobile customer service to get further pricings.
